Quick Start

What This Tool Does

Open the split view, drop the PDF in, and the first pages appear as thumbnails you can click to select. Typing into the page range box does the same thing from the other direction and the two stay in sync, so you can select a block by typing and then deselect one page by clicking it.

The download choice is the part worth deciding before you press the button. A single PDF puts every selected page into one new file in page order. Separate files gives you one PDF per selected page, downloaded one after another.

All of it happens in your browser. A contract, an invoice or a medical record is opened, cut and saved on your own machine, with no upload step and nothing left on a server to delete afterwards.

Limits Worth Knowing

Thumbnails are generated for the first fifty pages only. Pages beyond that are still selectable by typing a range.
The range box takes numbers and hyphenated pairs, such as 1-3, 5, 7-10. An open-ended range such as 8- is not understood here, so give it an end page.
Separate files means one PDF per page, not one PDF per range.
A password-protected PDF is refused on load. This tool can add protection but cannot remove it.
Files up to a hundred megabytes are accepted.

Common Questions

Can I reorder pages while extracting?

No. Selected pages come out in their original order, and reordering is a separate job.

What if my document has more than fifty pages?

Only the previews stop at fifty. Type the range you want and pages beyond that are extracted normally.

Does the original file change?

No. A new PDF is produced and downloaded, and the file you opened is untouched, having never left your device in the first place.
