Have an idea for a tool we should build? Tell us what you need and we'll add it to our list. All tools are free and respect your privacy, and almost all of them run entirely in your browser.
Tell us what tool you need and what it should do.
We look at all requests and build the most impactful tools first.
New tools are built with the same standards: free, fast, private, no signup.
The requests that get built are the specific ones. “A CSV tool” is hard to do anything with; “split a CSV into files of 500 rows, keeping the header on each one” is a description of a finished feature. Say what goes in, what should come out, and what you are doing when you need it.
The awkward cases are worth mentioning too. If your files are 200MB, if the input is tab separated rather than comma separated, if the text is not in English: those details decide whether a tool is useful to you or merely exists. They are also the parts that are expensive to add later.
There are over 165 tools here and the naming is not always obvious, so something close to what you want may already be live under a name you would not have searched for. The tool directory lists everything by category, and the search box matches on keywords rather than titles alone.
If you find something close but not quite right, that is still worth sending. A request to change an existing tool is usually faster to act on than a request for a new one, and it tends to help everybody already using it.
The form sends your description straight to an inbox. Requests are read and the ones that come up repeatedly, or that fill an obvious gap, are the ones built first. Nothing is queued publicly and there is no vote count, so a request is not a commitment to a date.
The email field is optional and is used for one thing: telling you when the tool you asked for is live. Anything that does get built follows the same rules as everything else here. It is free, it needs no account, and wherever it is technically possible it runs in your browser rather than on a server.
