This builds the image. Pick one of five canvas sizes (a 1080 by 1080 square post, a 1080 by 1920 story, a 1200 by 630 landscape post, a 1600 by 900 wide post or a 1280 by 720 thumbnail), set a solid background color or drop in a photo, and place one line of text over it.

The text controls are deliberately small: the message itself, font size on a slider from 12 to 120 pixels, a color, and whether it sits at the top, in the middle or at the bottom. Text is centered, wrapped to fit the canvas and given a soft shadow so it stays readable over a busy photo.

Alongside the canvas there is a caption counter measuring your post text against the real limit for six platforms: 280 for Twitter and X, 300 for Bluesky, 500 for Threads, 2,200 for Instagram, 3,000 for LinkedIn and 63,206 for Facebook. Links and emoji are counted the way those platforms count them, not as plain characters.
